The story of the childhood and youth of Peter Heller, one of the first children to be psychoanalyzed by Anna Freud. To tell this story Vivian Heller draws on a wealth of primary sources, including her father's case history and his internment diary, using novelistic techniques to bring the past alive. While in Anna's care, Peter's native Vienna slides into Fascist barbarism and he is forced to navigate an increasingly dangerous world. He flees to England only to be deported to Canada, where he is interned as a German-speaking foreign national, a situation that put him among Jewish refugees and Nazi P.O.W.'s.

After having many problems with the built-in audiobook player that comes with Apple products I was so happy to find this application. Not only does it accept MP3 files it joins them together. I have experienced numerous problems where an MP4 book will play in iTunes but would not play in the app that comes with my iPhone. This application plays them all flawlessly. And the increased speed is perfect. As one who consumes 2 to 3 audiobooks a week this is just what I needed.

Loved the free version so much, I upgraded to the Pro version. Love how it can play numerous formats. Easy to use, and navigate. Hope in a future update they include the ability to autoplay the next book after the previous one ended. Not all files are always a book, so in those cases this would be perfect, as some files are per chapter from some online sources.

I have been using this app for almost 100 days, now. I was very happy with the functions this app provided. It’s a must-have app for any user who looks forward to listening to audio books.

I’ve tried several audiobook apps and this is by far the best for ease of use, great features, and wonderful ui. Everything that you need is available on the main screen and easily accessible. Navigation is easy, settings for customizing are very flexible, and the support for bookmarks is superior. This is the one to buy.
