Ray Charles (1930-2004) led one of the most extraordinary lives of any popular musician. This is the only audiobook player I've found that can speed books up (without changing the pitch) and still keep the sound quality very good. It sounds as good as Overcast (minus a couple features like skipping empty spots and voice boosting) but makes it easy to import books (Overcast forces you to upload them to their servers with a 2gb limit).

Playing existing mp3 audio book files should be a slam dunk for an iPhone, but Apple doesn’t make it easy. This program fills this gap in functionality. It is easy to add files, through iCloud for example, and the app’s play functions work as expected. A pleasure to use.

I’ve tried several audiobook apps and this is by far the best for ease of use, great features, and wonderful ui. Everything that you need is available on the main screen and easily accessible. Navigation is easy, settings for customizing are very flexible, and the support for bookmarks is superior. This is the one to buy.

I have a number of audiobooks of various formats and ages, collected over decades. I digitized them all to use on mobile devices before iPhones even existed, but obviously now I’d rather not carry a separate device around with me. MP3 Audiobook Player to the rescue! This app lets me load books wirelessly, even via WebDAV, and has excellent usability features like playback speed. It can also be the target of a timer on iOS, so you can set a bedtime timer and automatically stop playback when desired. I just love it, and immediately bought the full version after I saw what it could do.
