She was a woman who made a vivid impression on those she met—she was portrayed (or caricatured), for example, in novels by Wyndham Lewis, D. H. Lawrence, and Aldous Huxley. Hopelessly in love with the noted writer Lytton Strachey, she achieved notoriety by killing herself shortly after his death. A talented painter, living a bohemian life, Carrington was torn by conflicts as an artist and a woman, including the shrewd and inquisitive Bloomsbury group. Carrington’s paintings, however, reveal much of her remarkable and original cast of mind, and since her death her reputation as an artist has grown steadily. Her work is new represented in major collections worldwide.

This app has a ton of features for listening to your audiobooks. The shake to extend the sleep timer is very convenient and a feature I miss when I switch back to the Audible app for my library there. Also, the equalizer has been a really nice addition along with the audio preset built in. I can keep my books out on my iCloud Drive and download them when I’m ready to listen. Great app!

MP3 Books is the best app I tested among many others. The reading of the chapters follows naturally and without error. A lot of nice features like the auto reading or reading time informations. The main interest is the ability to listen all free audio books and file formats, regardless of any susbcription like Apple Books and others.

Great app at last I can bookmark audiobooks. Once you have familiarised yourself with the app it works a treat. Just remember to click on the iPhone icon in the top bar (next to music and the up and down arrows) not on the right hand side bar. Then in the summary “file sharing” then select the app and add the audio book from windows explorer not iTunes.

I’ve tried several audiobook apps and this is by far the best for ease of use, great features, and wonderful ui. Everything that you need is available on the main screen and easily accessible. Navigation is easy, settings for customizing are very flexible, and the support for bookmarks is superior. This is the one to buy.
