Concentrating mainly on the present day scene, it also includes older monochrome photographs with drawings and maps, showing how this popular route has evolved, including details about the stations, lineside structures and signalling. The book has over 190 mono and colour illustrations, plus some older etchings of the period and a few non-railway pictures of the area, but associated with sea wall transport to give a complete picture of this famous piece of the railway.
