After years of being called "Ma'am" by well-meaning service providers, Shelley Roth came up with the idea of leaving a "Tip Card" along with the usual monetary tip to inform and educate wait staff and other "customer-facing" personnel. This began an unplanned journey as Shelley realized that a simple tip card offering advice to avoid assumptions based on appearance was just the beginning. In Don't Call Me Ma'am: A Transgender Story of Living in a World Without Labels, Shelley shares the inspiring story of the journey from coming up with a simple idea to coming out as a transgender person. The hope of the story is to share a vision for a world with no labels; where human beings live with understanding, cooperation and acceptance and where who we are on the inside is not limited by artificial labels we see when we look in the mirror. Part autobiography, part memoir, part educational tips, Don't Call Me Ma'am will speak to anyone who has ever felt limited, misunderstood or isolated by labels and to those who care about them. All proceeds from book sales go to www.glbthomeless.org helping LGBTQ youth. Shelley has been a life-long educator and nurturer: first as a teacher and assistant principal, a successful salesperson, a social media navigator and author and now as a human being sharing a transformative transgender journey. Through sharing this book, Shelley aspires to educate those who don't understand transgender and are seeking more knowledge. I just purchased a pack of MP3 audiobooks and I normally listen to Audible at 1.5 normal speed. So when I have to listen to things at normal speed or whatever it is EXCRUCIATING!!! I am so glad I found this app and the fact that you can dial up your speed by tenths instead of quarters is even better. Now if only o could figure out how to love my audible library over here...????

Playing existing mp3 audio book files should be a slam dunk for an iPhone, but Apple doesn’t make it easy. This program fills this gap in functionality. It is easy to add files, through iCloud for example, and the app’s play functions work as expected. A pleasure to use.

I’ve tried several audiobook apps and this is by far the best for ease of use, great features, and wonderful ui. Everything that you need is available on the main screen and easily accessible. Navigation is easy, settings for customizing are very flexible, and the support for bookmarks is superior. This is the one to buy.

I have a number of audiobooks of various formats and ages, collected over decades. I digitized them all to use on mobile devices before iPhones even existed, but obviously now I’d rather not carry a separate device around with me. MP3 Audiobook Player to the rescue! This app lets me load books wirelessly, even via WebDAV, and has excellent usability features like playback speed. It can also be the target of a timer on iOS, so you can set a bedtime timer and automatically stop playback when desired. I just love it, and immediately bought the full version after I saw what it could do.
