Gerda Taro (1911-1937) is considered one of the path-breaking pioneers of photography. She captured some of the most dramatic and widely published images of the Spanish Civil War and was the first female photographer to shoot images in the midst of battle. Her willingness to work close to the fighting set new standards for war photography and ultimately cost her her life in summer 1937. Taro stands alongside early 20th-century war photographers like Robert Capa and David Chim Seymour. In this biography, published for the first time in English, Irme Schaber presents groundbreaking insights regarding cameras, copyrights and the circumstances surrounding Taro's death.

I only wish I had found this App earlier. It would have saved me hours of converting audio books. This app is really easy to use and plays audio books on my iPhone 6 in mp3 format with no problem. It's easy to transfer books via iTunes. All round fantastic app, and I purchased the pro version within a hour of using it.

This is the only audiobook player I've found that can speed books up (without changing the pitch) and still keep the sound quality very good. It sounds as good as Overcast (minus a couple features like skipping empty spots and voice boosting) but makes it easy to import books (Overcast forces you to upload them to their servers with a 2gb limit).

Playing existing mp3 audio book files should be a slam dunk for an iPhone, but Apple doesn’t make it easy. This program fills this gap in functionality. It is easy to add files, through iCloud for example, and the app’s play functions work as expected. A pleasure to use.
