James Garner, born James Scott Bumgarner on April 7th, 1928, Norman, Oklahoma, U.S, was an actor, producer, and voice artist. James starred in several TV series spanning over 5 decades, including popular roles such as Bret Maverick in the '50s western series Maverick then Jim Rockford in the '70s private detective show, The Rockford Files.
