Lawrence H. Cooke, a lifelong resident of Sullivan County, New York, rose through the ranks of the legal profession to the exalted position of chief judge of his native state. He earned a national reputation as a jurist and court administrator. When Cooke retired from the bench, United States chief justice Warren Burger lauded the "powerful impact" of Cooke's "firm, constant voice." Other prominent judges and lawyers recalled Cooke's prodigious judicial accomplishments, personal warmth, and sympathy for the ordinary citizen. In this book, editor David M. Gold brings Cooke's life and work to light through a biographical essay, an interview with Cooke, and articles on Cooke's judicial legacy. The collection is a fitting tribute to the memory of an eminent jurist, tireless court reformer, and affable friend.

I have used this app to listen to my audio books for several years now. I keep several book series, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, etc., add new books, remove after read, etc. While I currently have 17 books loaded, with several books in progress, the app has never lost a reading place. Bookmarks work like a charm. I not only listen to audio books at home, I also listen while I drive. I appreciate that the app pauses during turn-by-turn directions. Thank you for an app that just does its thing flawlessly.

I use this app. to hear the Bible, usually while exercising on a ski machine (with a separate Bluetooth speaker). The audio Bible I have is in German, so I get some language practice, too. The app. keeps the files in their proper order, which iTunes did not. I see the app. has a procedure built in for uploading files to the iPhone. I had already used 3rd party software to do that for a previous iPhone, and these files came over to this phone when I got a new phone. This app. clips the chapter number just a little when starting a new chapter, but only when using the Bluetooth speaker, so that may be a problem wit the speaker software. My previous audio book player did not do that. Other than that, it does what I want.

Loved the free version so much, I upgraded to the Pro version. Love how it can play numerous formats. Easy to use, and navigate. Hope in a future update they include the ability to autoplay the next book after the previous one ended. Not all files are always a book, so in those cases this would be perfect, as some files are per chapter from some online sources.

I have a large list of audiobooks download in mb4 for and have tried many different apps. This is by far the best and most convenient app. It also automatically gets the cover art for each book. I recommend getting the pro so that there are no listening limits.
