A very comprehensive and practical teaching guide for the novice-to-very experienced ballet teacher or studio owner, or any qualified professional wishing to enter the career, this book has a wealth of age-appropriate class material for all levels in 180 pages of teaching goals, lesson plans with specific exercises and activities, arranged by level of difficulty, in a progressive complete syllabus format that can be adapted to suit the needs of any teacher or studio. Beautiful color photos enhance and illustrate the content. Written in clear and concise language with use of correct ballet terminology, the volume is divided into four parts: (Teaching) Preschool, Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced and also Pre-Pointe and Pointe levels, with additional information to assist teachers in assessing or grading students, gauging student progress, and constructing a personalized curriculum. It would serve as a valuable textbook or reference book for any college dance pedagogy/education course, and prepare the transitioning professional dancer or dance major graduate with a practical guide towards becoming an effective and successful teacher. This is the only audiobook player I've found that can speed books up (without changing the pitch) and still keep the sound quality very good. It sounds as good as Overcast (minus a couple features like skipping empty spots and voice boosting) but makes it easy to import books (Overcast forces you to upload them to their servers with a 2gb limit).

Playing existing mp3 audio book files should be a slam dunk for an iPhone, but Apple doesn’t make it easy. This program fills this gap in functionality. It is easy to add files, through iCloud for example, and the app’s play functions work as expected. A pleasure to use.

I have a large list of audiobooks download in mb4 for and have tried many different apps. This is by far the best and most convenient app. It also automatically gets the cover art for each book. I recommend getting the pro so that there are no listening limits.

Fits the bill perfectly to play audiobooks ripped from other media: premium version allows bookmarking, reading rate change (the best I've ever seen from .5x through 3x and every variation in between) and sleep timer. Plays files in multiple formats, including mp3s and m4b (audiobook version of m4a). Easy to load books through iTunes file sharing. I haven't tried the wireless method. Well worth the money for the premium version (which you can just purchase outright, but I got it free first, liked it, and almost immediately did the IAP for the pro features). Been looking for a solution since Audible discontinued the feature to play your own iTunes audiobook library and iBooks is inadequate. This is it. Highly recommended. Found this while trying to figure out how to play a library of audiobooks from a favorite author ripped from cassettes and CDs (not available on Audible - always my go-to).
