There are few people who don't know the story of Jane Eyre or Wuthering Heights, but details of the girls' personal histories are obscured in the mists of time. It is thanks to one woman, Ellen Nussey, that we know what we do of the Brontës' personal lives. First a great friend of Charlotte, it wasn't long before she worked her way into the hearts of the shyer sisters, Emily and Anne. It was Ellen who was bridesmaid to Charlotte despite disapproving of the match, and she who picked up the pieces after Anne's untimely death. It was also Ellen who defied Charlotte's husband and kept the thousands of letters she received from his late wife. After the Brontës' deaths, Ellen became their champion, making sure they would never fade into obscurity. Here Nick Holland does the same for Ellen Nussey.

After having many problems with the built-in audiobook player that comes with Apple products I was so happy to find this application. Not only does it accept MP3 files it joins them together. I have experienced numerous problems where an MP4 book will play in iTunes but would not play in the app that comes with my iPhone. This application plays them all flawlessly. And the increased speed is perfect. As one who consumes 2 to 3 audiobooks a week this is just what I needed.

Loved the free version so much, I upgraded to the Pro version. Love how it can play numerous formats. Easy to use, and navigate. Hope in a future update they include the ability to autoplay the next book after the previous one ended. Not all files are always a book, so in those cases this would be perfect, as some files are per chapter from some online sources.

The default music player doesn’t make it easy to add audio books from mp3, you can do it but it’s a pain in the but. This app makes it easy! I have been using it for years and I have been getting the updates for free! After my 1 time purchase. I like this app so much I deleted the music app and just have this.

Great app at last I can bookmark audiobooks. Once you have familiarised yourself with the app it works a treat. Just remember to click on the iPhone icon in the top bar (next to music and the up and down arrows) not on the right hand side bar. Then in the summary “file sharing” then select the app and add the audio book from windows explorer not iTunes.
