Mantener la integridad ética frente a las seducciones del mercado y hacerlo con sentido del humor se plantea como un auténtico reto para todo diseñador. Este libro reúne cuatro charlas que el célebre artista norteamericano dirigió a estudiantes de diseño. En ellas nos da algunas pistas sobre la respuesta del propio Glaser a este desafío, así como sobre su forma de entender y abordar los procesos creativos. Glaser analiza cómo el marketing y la publicidad han ido modificando nuestra cultura en las últimas décadas y reflexiona sobre el papel fundamental de los diseñadores en esta evolución. Defiende que el arte es, actualmente, la forma más benigna y esencial de crear comunidad, y que todas las personas vinculadas con el ejercicio de la creatividad tienen, por tanto, una función importante que desempeñar en esa transformación de la sociedad. Es así como Glaser llega a proponer en estas páginas una nueva denominación para el diseñador: «He cambiado de opinión sobre mi autodesignación: diseñador/ciudadano me parece una descripción más satisfactoria. Nunca existió mejor momento para asumir esta función.»

After having many problems with the built-in audiobook player that comes with Apple products I was so happy to find this application. Not only does it accept MP3 files it joins them together. I have experienced numerous problems where an MP4 book will play in iTunes but would not play in the app that comes with my iPhone. This application plays them all flawlessly. And the increased speed is perfect. As one who consumes 2 to 3 audiobooks a week this is just what I needed.

I only wish I had found this App earlier. It would have saved me hours of converting audio books. This app is really easy to use and plays audio books on my iPhone 6 in mp3 format with no problem. It's easy to transfer books via iTunes. All round fantastic app, and I purchased the pro version within a hour of using it.

Loved the free version so much, I upgraded to the Pro version. Love how it can play numerous formats. Easy to use, and navigate. Hope in a future update they include the ability to autoplay the next book after the previous one ended. Not all files are always a book, so in those cases this would be perfect, as some files are per chapter from some online sources.

Fits the bill perfectly to play audiobooks ripped from other media: premium version allows bookmarking, reading rate change (the best I've ever seen from .5x through 3x and every variation in between) and sleep timer. Plays files in multiple formats, including mp3s and m4b (audiobook version of m4a). Easy to load books through iTunes file sharing. I haven't tried the wireless method. Well worth the money for the premium version (which you can just purchase outright, but I got it free first, liked it, and almost immediately did the IAP for the pro features). Been looking for a solution since Audible discontinued the feature to play your own iTunes audiobook library and iBooks is inadequate. This is it. Highly recommended. Found this while trying to figure out how to play a library of audiobooks from a favorite author ripped from cassettes and CDs (not available on Audible - always my go-to).
