HOMEMADE is a love letter to Melbourne food and the people we share it with, featuring 80 diverse and cook-able recipes for home - curated by Broadsheet - by the city's best food innovators. With added context about why chefs do things the way they do, it's a book that will teach people how to cook, not just follow a recipe. The featured dishes are not about taking something out of a restaurant and serving it at home, but about the perfect dish <i>for</i> home. This is a celebration of the diversity, positivity and innovation that defines Melbourne food culture, and which evolved into something even more special in 2020. The past year changed dining in Melbourne and how we think about chefs, restaurants and their place in our lives. We turned to chefs and our city's food community for lessons and inspiration on how to cook simple things well. We couldn't go to restaurants, so we brought the restaurants to us. Featuring recipes by Melbourne's restaurant royalty, pioneers, young guns, beloved home cooks and the next generation of top chefs, this is an homage to the people, creative minds and places that have made Melbourne one of the finest food cities in the world. This app has a ton of features for listening to your audiobooks. The shake to extend the sleep timer is very convenient and a feature I miss when I switch back to the Audible app for my library there. Also, the equalizer has been a really nice addition along with the audio preset built in. I can keep my books out on my iCloud Drive and download them when I’m ready to listen. Great app!

I have a large list of audiobooks download in mb4 for and have tried many different apps. This is by far the best and most convenient app. It also automatically gets the cover art for each book. I recommend getting the pro so that there are no listening limits.

Fits the bill perfectly to play audiobooks ripped from other media: premium version allows bookmarking, reading rate change (the best I've ever seen from .5x through 3x and every variation in between) and sleep timer. Plays files in multiple formats, including mp3s and m4b (audiobook version of m4a). Easy to load books through iTunes file sharing. I haven't tried the wireless method. Well worth the money for the premium version (which you can just purchase outright, but I got it free first, liked it, and almost immediately did the IAP for the pro features). Been looking for a solution since Audible discontinued the feature to play your own iTunes audiobook library and iBooks is inadequate. This is it. Highly recommended. Found this while trying to figure out how to play a library of audiobooks from a favorite author ripped from cassettes and CDs (not available on Audible - always my go-to).

I have a number of audiobooks of various formats and ages, collected over decades. I digitized them all to use on mobile devices before iPhones even existed, but obviously now I’d rather not carry a separate device around with me. MP3 Audiobook Player to the rescue! This app lets me load books wirelessly, even via WebDAV, and has excellent usability features like playback speed. It can also be the target of a timer on iOS, so you can set a bedtime timer and automatically stop playback when desired. I just love it, and immediately bought the full version after I saw what it could do.
