John Marshall (1755--1835) was arguably the most important judicial figure in American history. As the fourth chief justice of the United States Supreme Court, serving from 1801 to1835, he helped move the Court from the fringes of power to the epicenter of constitutional government. His great opinions in cases like Marbury v. Madison and McCulloch v. Maryland are still part of the working discourse of constitutional law in America. Drawing on a new and definitive edition of Marshall's papers, R. Kent Newmyer combines engaging narrative with new historiographical insights in a fresh interpretation of John Marshall's life in the law. More than the summation of Marshall's legal and institutional accomplishments, Newmyer's impressive study captures the nuanced texture of the justice's reasoning, the complexity of his mature jurisprudence, and the affinities and tensions between his system of law and the transformative age in which he lived. I have been using this app for almost 100 days, now. I was very happy with the functions this app provided. This includes but not limited to the ease of transfer of books over wifi, easy navigation of the audiobook and the bookmarks features. It’s a must-have app for any user who looks forward to listening to audio books.

Playing existing mp3 audio book files should be a slam dunk for an iPhone, but Apple doesn’t make it easy. This program fills this gap in functionality. It is easy to add files, through iCloud for example, and the app’s play functions work as expected. A pleasure to use.

Fits the bill perfectly to play audiobooks ripped from other media: premium version allows bookmarking, reading rate change (the best I've ever seen from .5x through 3x and every variation in between) and sleep timer. Plays files in multiple formats, including mp3s and m4b (audiobook version of m4a). Easy to load books through iTunes file sharing. I haven't tried the wireless method. Well worth the money for the premium version (which you can just purchase outright, but I got it free first, liked it, and almost immediately did the IAP for the pro features). Been looking for a solution since Audible discontinued the feature to play your own iTunes audiobook library and iBooks is inadequate. This is it. Highly recommended. Found this while trying to figure out how to play a library of audiobooks from a favorite author ripped from cassettes and CDs (not available on Audible - always my go-to).

I have a number of audiobooks of various formats and ages, collected over decades. I digitized them all to use on mobile devices before iPhones even existed, but obviously now I’d rather not carry a separate device around with me. MP3 Audiobook Player to the rescue! This app lets me load books wirelessly, even via WebDAV, and has excellent usability features like playback speed. It can also be the target of a timer on iOS, so you can set a bedtime timer and automatically stop playback when desired. I just love it, and immediately bought the full version after I saw what it could do.
