Boss Reggae From Pama

The renowned Pama label was launched by Harry Palmer at a time when the BBC held disregard for Jamaican music with the burgeoning skinheads taking reggae to their heart. The labels first release was in 1967 and within three years Pama could boast a dozen subsidiary labels catering for Jamaican and UK based producers. The sheer volume of recordings was phenomenal but it was announced in1973 that the company had gone out of business. Featuring comprehensive discographies and full colour album artwork the book chronicles the iconic Pama labels including Punch, Crab and Camel and looks in admiration at the artistes and producers. A real treasure for reggae and in particular Pama aficionados with a foreword written by Harry Palmer. The perfect companion to the Boss Sounds from Pama now made available digitally in the highest quality audio to stream or download.

After having many problems with the built-in audiobook player that comes with Apple products I was so happy to find this application. Not only does it accept MP3 files it joins them together. I have experienced numerous problems where an MP4 book will play in iTunes but would not play in the app that comes with my iPhone. This application plays them all flawlessly. And the increased speed is perfect. As one who consumes 2 to 3 audiobooks a week this is just what I needed.

Loved the free version so much, I upgraded to the Pro version. Love how it can play numerous formats. Easy to use, and navigate. Hope in a future update they include the ability to autoplay the next book after the previous one ended. Not all files are always a book, so in those cases this would be perfect, as some files are per chapter from some online sources.

The default music player doesn’t make it easy to add audio books from mp3, you can do it but it’s a pain in the but. This app makes it easy! I have been using it for years and I have been getting the updates for free! After my 1 time purchase. I like this app so much I deleted the music app and just have this.

I have a large list of audiobooks download in mb4 for and have tried many different apps. This is by far the best and most convenient app. It also automatically gets the cover art for each book. I recommend getting the pro so that there are no listening limits.
