Grumman F6F Hellcat Pilot's Flight Operating Instructions

The most successful naval fighter in history, the Grumman F6F Hellcat accounted for nearly 5200 kills during WWII. Designed to replace the F4F Wildcat, the Hellcat featured many improvements including self-sealing fuel tanks, a bullet-proof windscreen, and hydraulic landing gear. The plane was rugged, and carried over 200 pounds of armor. Despite the extra weight, it was maneuverable and fast, thanks to a 2000 hp engine. The F6F boasted six .50 caliber machine guns, and could carry 2000 lbs. of bombs. Nearly 12,300 F6Fs were built. They first saw action at Tarawa, and subsequently flew in every battle of the Pacific campaign including the Turkey Shoot. Hellcats accounted for nearly 75% of all aircraft kills in the Pacific. Originally created by the U.S. Navy, this flight manual taught pilots everything they needed to know before entering the cockpit. Please note, some color diagrams appear in black and white. Care has been taken however to preserve the integrity of the text.

I only wish I had found this App earlier. It would have saved me hours of converting audio books. This app is really easy to use and plays audio books on my iPhone 6 in mp3 format with no problem. It's easy to transfer books via iTunes. All round fantastic app, and I purchased the pro version within a hour of using it.

MP3 Books is the best app I tested among many others. The reading of the chapters follows naturally and without error. A lot of nice features like the auto reading or reading time informations. The main interest is the ability to listen all free audio books and file formats, regardless of any susbcription like Apple Books and others.

The app allows a lot of freedom as far as organization and playback speed. Sleep timer is adjustable and combining books into series folders is simple. Equalizer helps to adjust pitch when playing at high speeds and helps reduces feedback with poor quality recordings. App never crashes and I don’t have any complaints.

I have a number of audiobooks of various formats and ages, collected over decades. I digitized them all to use on mobile devices before iPhones even existed, but obviously now I’d rather not carry a separate device around with me. MP3 Audiobook Player to the rescue! This app lets me load books wirelessly, even via WebDAV, and has excellent usability features like playback speed. It can also be the target of a timer on iOS, so you can set a bedtime timer and automatically stop playback when desired. I just love it, and immediately bought the full version after I saw what it could do.
